August 2022

I thought we’d be done with Covid by now, but I recently got it. No idea how! Fortunately, it was a very mild case. My creativity has suffered over the last couple of years. It’s hard for me to be artistically creative when I’m not happy with the world. I’ve made lots of jewelry and done other things like relandscape my yard, travel to Hawaii, Sea Ranch and Lake Tahoe; and help Jessel with the Gallery bookkeeping and financial matters. But the holidays are coming right up so it’s about time to get busy and make more stuff!

Spring 2021

Spring has sprung in Napa and I’ve been liberated from a year of quarantine! I quite enjoyed not having any commitments, and an excuse to stay at home! I’m happy that we made it through the darkness. I lost my husband and one of my cats and I miss them terribly, but life does go on. The pandemic really brought home the concept of mortality and how short life really is. I hope I don’t lose sight of how important it is to live fully before it ends.
